Embodying Conscious Leadership

immersive Day Retreat for purpose-driven leaders

Carp Ridge EcoWellness Centre (near Ottawa) | September 27th, 2024

Awareness is an essential (arguably the most essential) leadership competency. The growing field of Conscious Leadership centres the awareness-building practices needed to thrive in today’s leadership landscape.

Amidst growing demands and complexity, it can be challenging for modern leaders to find the space needed to deepen presence and self-awareness. The urgent tends to override the important. Attention is often pulled in various directions. And as these patterns persist, they chip away at one’s ability to continuously show up as a steady, inspiring, effective leader.

-

This thoughtfully curated retreat experience offers an invitation to powerfully step into the next phase of your leadership journey.

Escape the day-to-day, quiet the noise and re-connect with the deeper parts of yourself. Inspired by stillness and natural surroundings, you’ll draw upon renewed clarity as you explore your unique leadership strengths, tendencies, beliefs and motivations - in an intimate, supportive and confidential setting.

A transformative journey

Upon registration, you’ll receive a link to complete a self-assessment using the revolutionary Leadership Circle Profile. The assessment will shine light on your leadership strengths and tendencies, as well as the beliefs that sit below the surface of your awareness.

Empowered with these insights, you’ll be invited to join a private online community with fellow retreat participants. Through this community, you’ll gain access to pre-retreat information, guidance and reflective prompts.

On retreat day, you’ll take in the fall colours on your scenic drive to the Carp Ridge EcoWellness Centre to spend a day immersed in nature and community. Following a grounding exercise, you’ll savour some refreshments and a light breakfast as you get to know your fellow participants. You’ll then be guided through an expertly curated series of activities including a reflective forest walk, journalling, fireside chat, guided meditation and peer-to-peer sharing. You’ll leave feeling nourished and connected - to self, purpose, nature and your fellow leaders.

To support your continued integration of the insights gained on retreat, you’ll receive weekly reflective prompts and access to an online community for three (3) weeks post-retreat, along with special discounted rates on 1-on-1 coaching support and upcoming group programs.

Meet Rebecca

Rebecca Wilson is an ICF certified coach, Leadership Circle Profile practitioner, mindfulness teacher, and experienced senior leader.

Rebecca spent much of her life identifying as a high achiever (who desperately wanted to save the world). At some point along the path of striving for more outward impact, she realized she’d lost connection with herself. Her path of self-discovery led her to experience the profound effects of mindfulness.

Along this journey, Rebecca continued to thrive professionally, moving into senior leadership positions in the management consulting and not-for-profit sectors. All the while, she was diving deep into wisdom traditions and personal development, eventually training as a certified coach, meditation and yoga teacher. As she observed changes within herself and her clients, she began witnessing the transformative impact of inner work on leadership effectiveness.

Rebecca founded Arborvida to help high achieving, purpose-driven leaders deepen their presence and elevate their impact. She’s married 10 years of experience hosting leadership off-sites with her expertise as a Mindfulness Teacher and Executive Coach to create this truly transformative offering.
